PoliTemps was launched in 1998 from a small Dupont Circle office.

OUR HISTORY

Prior to that and in between political and government employment, our founder Chris Jones temped for various staffing agencies in Austin, Texas, and Washington, D.C. The challenges and rewards he encountered in his temporary work experiences led him to build PoliTemps, a legislative, government, and political staffing company. By launching PoliTemps, Jones created a business that resonated with the political job seekers but also had wider appeal to those interested in public affairs, public relations, media, and non-profits.

PoliTemps provides organizations with top-quality, professional personnel who are politically astute in addition to possessing unsurpassed communications, administrative, and computer skills. As president and CEO, Jones oversees the business development as well as the marketing and management activities of the company.

PoliTemps has placed associates with clients for over one million hours and over 400 permanent placements.

Since 1998, PoliTemps has tripled in size and has added several staff for placement and recruiting. PoliTemps counts among its clients a premier roster of the top political consultants, public relations firms, associations, and non-profits in the D.C. area.

PoliTemps has been featured in numerous newspapers, political resource guides, and publications as a reliable source for news and information regarding politics, people, campaigns, and jobs.
